Most small businesses don’t need an agency. They need one person who gets it — who can handle the brand, the messaging, and the website without six meetings, a 40-page deck, or a retainer that eats your margin. That’s what this is.
No open-ended retainers. No “discovery phase” that drags. Every package is scoped, priced, and built to finish.
Know who you are and what to say — fast.
Sound like yourself everywhere you show up.
A site that actually brings in leads.
You’ll work directly with me — no account managers, no project coordinators, no junior designer doing the actual work while someone senior presents it. One email thread. One calendar link. One person responsible for every decision, from the positioning workshop to the final line of copy.
Two of these — or all three? Several clients have. We’ll map a combined scope and a combined investment in a single conversation, no upcharge for the privilege.
Let’s talk it throughThree weeks. Built around you. A brand you can actually put out into the world without wincing.
Stop staring at an empty caption box. A repeatable content engine you can actually run — by yourself, in an hour a week.
A site that does the work of a part-time salesperson — so you can stop apologizing for your URL.
Not ready for a full package? Or already mid-way and need one piece? These are the smaller engagements that keep things moving.
A one-week deep-dive on what’s working, what’s not, and what to fix first. Includes a 30-min debrief call and a prioritized action list you can run with — or hand to me.
Monthly updates, edits, backups, security patches, and small design tweaks so your site stays fresh. No lock-in — cancel any month.
It’s how I keep strategy, creativity, and execution aligned — whether we’re together for 2 weeks or 6.
The phase where we slow down to get the questions right before we build anything. Who you are, who you’re for, what only you can say — until those answers are sharp enough that everything else has something to lean on.
Where strategy becomes shape. Decisions get made and committed to — this voice, this look, this point of view. The phase that trades ambiguity for specificity, on purpose.
Where the work goes live and gets handed over. Not just shipping — setting it up so you can keep running it without me, with the muscle memory to make decisions on your own.
If yours isn’t here, just ask — the Clarity Call is literally for this.
Ask a Question →Short answer: no. Most clients start with one. If your brand is solid but your site is a mess, start there. If the visuals are fine but nobody knows how to describe what you do, start with the Brand Sprint.
On our Clarity Call, I’ll tell you honestly which one to start with — even if it’s the cheapest one.
Depends on what “return” looks like, and on what’s driving leads for your business. A new site usually shows up as confidence first — you actually want to send people there, you stop apologizing for the link in your email signature, referrals convert better because the site backs up the pitch. Paid traffic and direct referrals can move inside the first month. Organic search is slower — 3–6 months before SEO starts pulling its weight, longer for competitive terms.
I won’t promise specific numbers. Anyone who does is lying. What I’ll commit to is a site and a brand foundation that stops working against you — which is usually the bigger problem than the one people think they’re hiring me to solve.
Great — then we build on it. Packages are flexible. If you just need the website, we skip logo work and use what you have. If you have a good logo but no voice, Content System fits.
The Brand Audit ($650) is a low-risk way to figure out what to keep and what to redo.
Most of my clients are in Louisville, but I work with owners in small markets anywhere — everything runs over Zoom, Loom, and shared docs. I prioritize Louisville because it’s my home market, but the process works the same anywhere.
Yes. Brand Sprint ($4,500) and Content System ($3,200) are 50% to start, 50% at delivery. Website Package ($6,800) is 50/25/25 — start, design approval, launch. We can structure something else if cash flow is tight — just ask.
Paid ads, print production costs (if you’re printing menus, cards, etc.), stock photography licenses, domain/hosting fees (~$12–25/mo), and ongoing social media posting. I’ll flag any of these up front so there are no surprises.
Every package is scoped and priced before we start — that’s the number. If we hit something mid-project that genuinely falls outside the original scope, I’ll flag it immediately, write a short change order, and you decide whether to add it or punt it. No silent overages. No surprise invoices. No retroactive “well, that was extra.”
Mostly time and judgment. A Brand Sprint is three weeks of focused work — interviews, strategy drafts, messaging iterations, design rounds. You’re paying for the thinking more than the output. The work product is what the thinking leaves behind.
Honestly? If your only goal is “have something that exists,” those work. If your goal is a brand that earns trust faster, a site that converts, and content that doesn’t sound like everyone else — that takes strategy, and strategy is most of what you’re paying for here.
I’ll never try to talk you into a package you don’t need. Sometimes the Brand Audit is the right answer and you go DIY from there.
